Accomplishments:
Prior to joining WAMS as a full-time mediator, Shari Bitcon dedicated the latter part of her legal career to defending tort claims, focusing on premises liability and automobile bodily injury matters. As Managing Attorney for The Hartford in both Washington and Oregon, Ms. Bitcon arbitrated or tried to verdict hundreds of cases throughout the Pacific Northwest while simultaneously fulfilling her management responsibilities. Prior to her 20 years with The Hartford, she served as Vice President and General Counsel of a publically traded, Seattle-based retail chain.
