Accomplishments:
Mr. Farley brings a wealth of litigation and trial experience to his full-time mediation practice. Since 1990, he has practiced in State and Federal Courts in Washington representing manufacturers, retailers, construction companies, government agencies, real estate companies, insurance companies, local, regional, national, and international corporations, and individuals. In that time, he has tried 100+ jury trials to verdict. He has tried cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. His more significant jury trials involved cases encompassing personal injury, business defamation, and property disputes in State and Federal Courts wherein he obtained multiple favorable verdicts on behalf of his clients.
Before joining WAMS, Mr. Farley served as Judge Pro Tem, and as a neutral in 100+ contractual and court-mandated arbitrations.
Mr. Farley began his legal career working as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Terrance A. Carroll in King County Superior Court, and thereafter embarked on 35-year journey as a trial attorney working in the private sector, both in law firms and as in-house insurance counsel. In 1998 he was awarded Allstate’s Customer Service Award for Trial Excellence. In 2000 he opened the law firm of Farley & Dimmock, LLC, and represented individuals in personal injury matters and worker’s compensation claims until 2017. Most recently he served as Staff Attorney III at Zurich American Insurance Company defending its insureds in complex litigation.
